    Does anyone know of doctors that can perform NA in this area? I tried Dr Paul Binhammer in Toronto, but he is not accepting new patients.

    Hi Kurt. I'm from Niagara and have been on a quest similar to yours. My only suggestion is find any hand surgeon to see you then nag them to refer you to Dr. Binhammer. I've seen Dr. Huq in Niagara Falls and had a segmental fasciectomy in Feb. My cord has all ready come back, so I'm hoping that Dr. Binhammer will finally accept my referral from Dr. Huq.

    Hey Kurt, any new advances in finding a new doctor? I'm not sure what my next step is. Starting to really feel discouraged myself.

    I found a doctor in Welland and have an appointment for August. Dr Omar Bengezi, 905-788-0555. You will need a referral from your own GP. Good luck!

    Did you talk to the Hand and Upper Limb Center HULC in London http://www.uwo.ca/surgery/plastics/HULC/...ndsurgery.html? They are doing a lot of research on Dupuytren's and I believe they are also offering NA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-32nd2vQexQ.

    I did contact London, but Welland is a lot closet for me.

    Dr. Gan in London, ON was my 1st choice, he was not accepting new patients. I'll get in contact with Dr. Bengizi. Kurt, let me know how it goes in August! It difficult to find a Doctor willing to open their minds to radiotherapy, let alone get any treatment in CANADA!

    Hope your appointment went well! Do you have an update?
    Dr Bengezi looked at my situation during the pre-op and recommended the conventional fasciectomy. My surgery was in mid August 2013 and went well. My two fingers, left ring finger and adjacent pinky, are completely straight right after surgery. There is a little scar tissue, but hope this will decrease over time. I have complete movement and strength back , so very satisfied with the outcome. My surgeon thought that the fascia scar tissue is not as completely removed as with a fasciectomy.

    Great to hear!! I'm having fasciectomy Dec 2nd at the Toronto Western hand center. Removal web space contracture and contracting central cord in my thumb. Hopefully I get more than 2 months before recurrence this time!
