Radiation Therapy in Ontario

I finally found got a doctor to refer me to the The Multidisciplinary Sarcoma Clinic at the Princess Margaret Hospital and the University of Toronto, that is listed on this website. My doctor's receptionist just called asking for a phone number because the fax number listed was not working. :( Help!!!

The fax number is 416.946.2900 NOT 2100!

'General Referral Form for Radiation Oncology'

Phew, I'm glad I found that.

I got an appointment!!!!! Next Tuesday. So very excited!
Maybe the page listing the Princess Margaret hospital radiation therapy clinic should be updated with the proper fax number?

Re: Radiation Therapy in Ontario

Is 5 months after latest update in this thread, but would be great to learn if any subsequent news - especially positive news.

I'm a GTA (Greater Toronto Area) resident, with a 'fresh' diagnosis of DD. No contracture as yet, but definitely DD, as confirmed by doctors and specialists. Considering RT and I see all indications point to Germany or similar destinations for this treatment.

Re: Radiation Therapy in Ontario

Not much to update... I did not receive treatment. It was explained to me that radiation therapy is not used as an early treatment but as a last resort after many other options explored. The radiation oncologist was very concerned about my health >20 yrs from now. I listened to their advice.
