Just saw my radiation oncologist 4 weeks after my initial 5 days of RT. Things are A-ok and I started treatment on my other hand- which has not been in contracture. Interestingly enough, the only slight discoloration on my treated left hand is the area where I had Xiaflex for a contracture of my pinky that involved the PIP joint. It has brought the cord down and made it softer and the pinky PIP little bump is disappearing! I am very encouraged. Kudos to Dr. James Wong at Morristown Memorial Hospital and to all his staff. They are terrific. If anyone lives in the NJ or tri-state area, I highly recommend them!
