RT Worked
A quick update on RT done on right hand std Dupuytren's nodule under ring finger, classic case.
About 4-5 months ago I had two rounds of RT at Scripps Radiation Cancer Center in La Jolla, CA. After about 2 weeks my hand hurt and was numb, I figured there was nerve damage from the RT.
4-5 months later the pain, numbness are 90% gone, and the nodule is starting to go away. The cord is the same size, but does not "pull" anymore, I have 100% of my flexibility back. Also, it is not sensitive at all, it is like I never had it.
Dr. T was fantastic, I can see why they say he is one of the leading Dupuytren's RT doctors in the world.
Thanx Dr. T!!!
Fred

Re: RT Worked
I am so pleased for you. It is a great feeling to have your hand back as it "kind of" once was.

Re: RT Worked
I am really pleased it worked for you. I had RT done last April! I am not convinced that it has worked me, I now rely on night splinting :(
