Silver Nitrate and Xiaflex tears

Hello All
I posted a couple of days ago about my tear on my ring finger , which is rather large from xiaflex. People have responded that silver nitrate may help the healing process. At what point does this t occur? My Doctor says he wants it to heal more on its own first. What has been other people's experience?
Thanks
Mary

Re: Silver Nitrate and Xiaflex tears

Open wound healing is a common procedure in hand surgery, specifically after Dupuytren's surgery http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/art...007122664800436. I would follow your doctor's advice, nothing wrong with it.

How long since your surgery? Mine was Aug 1. I had not heard about silver nitrate but will ask, anything to speed up healing!
