time between NA procedure

I am a 61 yo male originally diagnosed with DC in my 40's. Had NA procedure in 2004 with Dr. Eaton in WPB. Most evident in my right hand, ring and pinkie finger. (pinky was curved all the way over to my palm. )Nodules in left hand but no contracture. After the procedure which was mostly pain free, ( except where he sneaks up on you and straightens your finger out. ) Results were spectacular, hand was practically flat. I was told that I could expect to need the procedure in about 5 years. Seven years later had only slight curvature but progressed rapidly within the next year. As I was so pleased with the first procedure, and happy that there was a doctor in my area of Florida that now did NA, I signed up again in December of 2012. Two years later , I am almost back to where I began and the pain I experienced the second time was substantially more than the first time . My question is has anyone else experienced the time compression between the first procedure (about 7 years) and the second, ( approx. 2 years ) and the pain. ( have I become less pain tolerant over the last 7 years? )

Re: time between NA procedure

No two cases are the same .. and no two Doctors are the same ...

I think that may answer your questions ...

BTW I went to Dr. Eaton in 2009 ...great guy .. great results....keeping my fingers crossed ... no pun intended

Have you tried hand braces ?
