Re: Update 6 weeks since Fasciectomy

callie:
"awful condition" is really relative I have found out. I was coping with Dupuytren's for several years and then about three months ago they said I had leukemia and might live for another year. It made my Dupuytren's seem pretty insignificant. I had never been sick except for the Dupuytren's.

Thank you, Callie, for that important reminder.

It's a thought I often had as I looked around me at the other patients in the radiation oncology waiting room, when I was there for radiation treatment of my Dupuytren's. I was the only non-cancer patient. And it's a compelling reminder when it comes from you. Thank you.

JohnG,

I had the same thoughts as you when I was getting radiation for Dupuytren's in January of last year. Then in November, Bam !! I became one of them. An interesting experience.
