knuckle pads
Yes I had one removed 3 years ago, it hasn't come back. It's a minor procedure and the incision healed cleanly.

Knuckle pad removed
I am 37 yrs old and had a knuckle pad removed about 10 years ago. I didn't know until recently that this condition was related to Dupuytren's. The procedure was done by a hand surgeon and it took about 2 months to regain full movement since the tendon had to be cut. I have since developed "lumps" on other fingers that are painful. I have decided to wait on further surgery.

Knuckle pad removed
I had a knuckle pad removed 25 years ago. It hasn't come back, but in the years after the removal I developed knuckle pads on 5 other fingers. My DC is progressing. Just had a pinky contracture release 6 months ago. Surgeon said sometimes removing Dupuytren's tissue before it is "ripe" promotes disease progression.
