Ganglion

45 male exactly 5 weeks to the day since I had a 15mm ganglion cyst removed from the top of my right wrist. I had it for about 10 years and just over the past year it started to provide discomfort up and down my arm (nerves I guess) whenever I lifted weights. I also started to obsess about it and finally decided to have it surgically removed. Like many others, I am having 2nd and third thoughts about why I had the surgery. I still wear a brace 90 percent of the time and haven't been able to get back to lifting weights yet. I know it has only been 5 weeks (recovery is 6-8) but my range of motion is very limited and I still have discomfort up to my shoulder. Noo physical therapy was recommended but I can only bend my wrist down at about a 20 degree angle rather than the 90 before the surgery. If you are considering having surgery do LOTS of research first and talk to several doctors (which I didn't do).
