Phase III trials at Standford Hand Clinic
They are now qualifing Dupuytren's sufferers at Standford Medical for the phase III trials which will start after they have the necessary number of accepted applicants. Try calling at 1-650-723-5256 for information.
I believe that there will be a total of 100 accepted and that half of these are supposed to be left-handed. The trial will involve quite a few follow-up visits so one should probably be "local" to Northern California.

Dupuytren~sq~s Disease Treatment
There is a consultant in Paris, Jean-Luc-Lermusiaux, who is treating Dupuytrenss by inserting a needle under a local anaesthetic and cutting away the fibres around the tendon. Does anybody had this procedure?

Cyril,
I have had the Aponevrotomy (Needle) procedure performed in Switzerland during the latter part of June with satisfactory results. How exactly may I be of help to you?

Thanks for answering so promptly. Can you let me know who performed the treatment and where he is.

needle surgery
I am new to this discussion forum, but not new to dupuytrenes. I had surgery to remove a rapidly growing lump at the base of my middle finger on my left hand 3 years ago. Now they are back, big time. I would appreciate any information on needle surgery such as points of contact, cost, and post treatment experiences.

Stanford clinical trials of DC treatment with collagenese
There is hope! Thanks to this web site I've been accepted in the clinical trials about to start at Stanford. I'll be getting my first injection sometime in January and will keep you all informed as to progress. Merry Christmas!

Phase III trials at Stanford Hand Clinic
Ken, Congratulations. There are several questions for you to find out(appreciated homework):
1) Try to get a feel for how long it will take to bring these trials to completion. It could be several years even if things go well in phase III.
2) What stages of DC will the collagenase work?
3) How promising were the phase I and phase II trials?
4) If you have time, explain to us the procedure.
Thank you in advance, Gary

Injections
Could you include me in your mailings re: injection progress reports? It will help me decide i.e., postpone surgery and wait for the injection therapy. Thanks! Jack

Stanford clinical trials of DC treatment with collagenese
Dear Ken Warren, Please keep me posted with regard to the trials. This is very interesting as I am living in East Africa at present and surgery here is not possible.
Here is also another interesting site in France:
