vitamin E
Hello I'm a doctor in Paris, France and some of my patients tell that they see DD's nodules and contractures regress under vitamin E treatment. Has someone seen such a thing ?

Vitamin E
Dr Cabane, I am sad to say that I have not noticed any improvement of my DC since taking high levels of Vit D for another problem. I have been using Vit D for five months and have seen no improvement in either problem. Marjorie

Vitamin E
I have had some positive results with Vitamin E, however, not to a great degree. Research indicates that Vitamin E does help some patients.

Vitamin E
Does anyone know the suggested dosage of Vitamin E that is having a positive effect on the DD nodules?

Vitamin E
I can tell you that I took 800IU daily for years with absolutely no effect. My impression is that there is actually no credible research showing an effect of E on Dupuytren's.

Vitamin E
Don't take Vitamin E orally for nodules in the palm. Apply it locally twice a day. Wash your hands in very worm or hot water, then apply the Vitamin E, and rub it in. I used a 10,000 IU Vitamin E cream. It was helpful for me.

NA PROCEDURE
Yeah I did that too for quite a while. It only temporarily softened the tissue and I suspect any kind of oil would do the same thing.
I don't mean to be contradicting other posters, just offering my opionion, based on my experience and on reading this and other forums for several years: Vitamin E does nothing.
