Agressive Fibromatosis?

Went to Internist today b/c of lump to the L of lower spine and the dx she thought the most probable since I already have LD and Dups (early stages both hands) is what I see is called "agressive Fibromatosis".

I had forgot all about this stuff getting into other parts of me and it really depressed me (maybe my thyroid is low again).

It was so painful to lie down to sleep I put a piece of foam under the region to be able to sleep, but now that is starting to wear after a few months and the pain is coming back, she suggested I cut a hole in the foam. Some chairs are uncomfortable as well but mostly I am OK with sitting.

Going for Xray as soon as I can to rule out calcium deposit. It could be a ganglion cyst.

I searched but could not find a thread with anyone having anything on their spine here. But maybe I missed something b/c I did a search for Agressive Fibromatosis.

Does anyone have anything similar to this?

Trying not to stress about it till I get xray done.

Re: Agressive Fibromatosis?

What you describe is not anything that I have heard as related to Dupuytren's or LD. The closest I've heard of is maybe some connection with frozen shoulder, but I'm not sure that has been determined.

To others on the Forum, have you heard of any connection between Dupuytren's and back problems he described?
