Whole Lung Radiation
My wife has been diagnosed with lung metastatic basal cell carcinoma. There are about 20 tumours on both lungs. Radiation therapy on treating her breast bone has been very successful. Could radiation therapy be applied treating either both lungs or one lobe at a time?

Re: Whole Lung Radiation
Smartie, this site and forum is for people with Dupuytren's or Ledderhose disease. Although some of us have experience of treatment with radiation therapy, it is used at much lower doses and with a specific protocol that does not apply for cancers. Also we are not Doctors or radiologists. So I think perhaps you should seek elsewhere for the advice you seek. Best wishes to you and your wife.
