Index finger, new nodule?

I have just discovered a nodule on right hand palm, below index finger. I have DC in both hands already in palms below pinky fingers. I am assuming this new nodule is DC, hopefully i am wrong. At 34, I am starting to worry more about the progression of this disease. I do not have contracture now, but feel as if a cord is developing in left hand. I really just needed to vent and share a little to get it off my shoulders some.

Re: Index finger, new nodule?

I've been wondering the same thing. I currently have Ledderhose on both feet but no official Dupuytren diagnosis since the doctors I've met all told me that it's impossible to detect this disease unless contracture is evident. About a week ago I noticed a small lump on my palm, right under each index(on both hands).

I really hope this is not Dupuytren.

I am a 28 years old male from Montreal, Canada.

Keep an eye on it guys. I guess that is all we can do until it gets a little more advanced? I am new to this, it is disconcerting, but we have options like RT, NA, etc. from what I have learned.

Hang in there,
Mike
