Tightness/numbness in balls of both feet

I've had Dupuytren's for many years which I've controlled with RT and NA. I developed a Ledderhose nodule in the arch of one foot about 15 years ago which totally disappeared after a series of RT treatments. I noticed a couple of months ago that the balls of both feet have begun to feel numb and "full" for lack of a better word. There is no pain whatsoever, but when I curl my toes it feels like my socks are bunching up.

A Morton's Neuroma would be a likely reason, but on both feet? It seems like too much of a coincidence to me and I'm beginning to fear that I'm developing a form of Ledderhose that has no nodules and no pain, but fibrosis in the toe area.

I'm seeing a podiatrist in a couple of weeks, but I'm wondering if anyone has had similar symptoms.

Thanks.

Re: Tightness/numbness in balls of both feet

Hi

I've had mortons neuroma and there was pain with many activities, and I could create it by pressing in certain areas or scrunching the toes together. It has now healed. Yours doesn't sound like this and as you say both feet at the same time seems odd. I don't know what else to suggest but hopefully the podiatrist will advise. Any changes in footwear or activities or other symptoms? If no-one else answers do come back and let us know the outcome.
