I have a question for everyone that has had rt . Wondering how long you had dd before you did rt?

I have had DD for over 7 yrs.

First it affected my right hand (nodules and contracted PIP small finger), and nodules in left foot (Ledderhose). I had NA on small finger in 2006, it came back six months later....I am having repeat NA on same finger in March.

My left hand developed many nodules and a small cord running down index finger.... I didn't want to wait until a contracture occurs on left hand, so I had RT on left hand and on left foot in November 2009.

So far I'm very happy with the results of the RT...nodules are smaller, softer, itching has stopped, and the range from thumb to small finger is much bigger, ....I can open the hand wider.

I was diagnosed at the end of March, 2009 and it took me 2 months to find someone to treat it. I had my first RT in July of last year. I started developing a sore spot in my palm in November of 2008, nodule in Jan of 2009, and while waiting to get into see the hand surgeon developed a cord in less than 2 months. So from 1st symptom in November to first treatment in July was 7 months. Wish I had known about and done the treatment when I only had a nodule.
