Re: skin treatment after RT

I haven't had skin problems specific to RT after the first treatment in summer (it is more humid) but feel dryness after the second one in fall and i know i must prepare for winter which is extremely dry and cold up here. Even without Rt i have regular cracks on the fingers in winter that bleeds and I must struggle to hydrate. So adding RT on the palm... I am using the uremol cream with 20% urea and think it is the minimum to use as prevention during our winter. But when the skin starts to crack and bleed, i add to it some isle' paste with zinc (what you put on baby's diaper rash) and leave it there to repair overnight, protected by gloves. But if i forget one night, the cracks come back. On the palm though, the lines between nodules are deep and dark red and very dry. I hope to avoid the skin cracking there. If it does, i am planning to use the thing to put on skin to heal burns. I guess that what works well for excema, should be good for Rt skin.
