Re: Dupuytren from playing golf?
samroder: Jeannelk, did it get better after you stopped with the bio-oil? I tried it for a week also, and it seems to have made my (only) nodule harder and bigger.
I had the opposite experience playing tennis. During a 3 month injury break, I unknowingly developed a nodule near the PIP on the ring finger on my racquet hand. When I restarted tennis and held a racquet I immediately became aware of the nodule as it was rubbing or exerting pressure. I continued playing, but strapped the finger, and eventually switched to using a glove. Several months later the nodule had gone. I consider the pressure and movement from the racquet contributed to its disappearance. It might be wishful thinking of course.
