arizona new diagnosis

I was diagnosed last week with DD on both hands, the right seems to be the most symptomatic with slight curvature on the ring and pinky finger. I have read on other sites that DD is not painful, but I have a jammed feeling on the middle finger and burning of the knuckle. Is this typical of DD, or is it likely that I have been mis-diagnosed?

Re: arizona new diagnosis

Amazingly there is some bad information out there about our disease, even among surgeons. Patients on a Forum like this share enough information to help us get a better concessus.

Dups *can* be painful. Not excruciating, maybe that's what they are talking about, but painful enough to get you attention. The lumps or nodules are usually where the pain is. There is no reason to believe you have been misdiagnosed.
