    I KNOW YOU ALL WILL THINK I'M CRAZY BUT I HAVE BEEN READING ABOUT THIS FOR MONTHS FOR OTHER HEALTH PROBLEMS. THIS SEEMS TO HELP ALOT OF PROBLEMS AND ITS WORTH A READ. I JUST FINISHED MY FOLLOW UP AT DOCTORS FOR RADIATION AND EVERYTHING IS GOING GOOD IN BOTH HANDS. MY HANDS HAVE QUIT PEELING AND MY LEFT HAND IS NO LONGER TIGHT BUT MY RIGHT HAND IS STILL VERY TIGHT AND I STILL HAVE A PAIN IN THE BOTTOM PART OF THE PALM. AND I JUST HOPE IT WILL GET BETTER IN TIME. ITS ONLY BEEN ABOUT 5 WEEKS SINCE I FINISHED RT. I ALSO HAVE OSTEOARTHRITIS SO I'M SURE THATS NOT HELPING. SOMEONE ON THE FORUM MENTIONED THAT AND I DIDN'T EVEN THINK THAT MAYBE MY OSTEO MIGHT BE GIVING ME THE PAIN. BUT IN THE FUTURE I PLAN ON TRYING BEE THERAPY ON OTHER PROBLEMS AND IF I NEED TO I WILL TRY IT ON MY HANDS. THE WEBSITE IS WWW.APITHERAPY.ORG TAKE CARE

    Cindy, I tried bees myself and Stefan, another member of Dupuytren Society, did as well. No positive results.

    Side effects: I am not allergic and had no side effects except some pain and slight swelling of parts of the hand. Stefan experienced stronger pain and his arm became thick up to his shoulder. We both did not see any improvement of our Dupuytren's nodule or cords. Maybe we should have had more bee stitches and over a longer period of time (we both had two, just a few minutes apart) but it's not really fun, so we gave up on it. I don't think bees have a dramatic postive efffect on Dupuytren's, if at all.

    Thanks for letting me know because i was very curious. I'm very happy with what the rt has did for my hands but i was thinking along the lines of just keeping my hands in working condition. Just don't want to go back to the way my hands were before rt. It is nice to know someone that has tried this but sad because it didn't help.
