Wax Dupuytren's, Wane Lederhose
I though I'd share a curious development and see if anyone has experienced the same. I have Dupuytren's in my left hand and have also had Lederhose nodules on my feet. Over the past year the nodule on my left foot disappeared and the nodule on the right foot has decreased in size. During this time the Dupuytren's in my left hand has gotten worse. I find this a little strange. You'd think that the waxing and waning would be in sync. Anyone experience anything similar?

Re: Wax Dupuytren's, Wane Lederhose
Magnetic field, static or pulsing, has no effect on Dupuytren's or Ledderhose. I tried it myself, maybe it helps for something else but for MD/ML it's useless.

Re: Wax Dupuytren's, Wane Lederhose
I did exhibit Ledderhose starting about 25 yrs ago, with one large nodule in one foot. After about 7 or 8 years, though, it started getting smaller and is nearly gone today - though now I have a small nodule in the other foot. DD started being noticeable around the same time the LD was waning. It started in one hand and has never gone away, then it went quickly to the other hand and I just had surgery a few weeks back on the more recent hand.
So I did wax and wane, but I wouldn't read too much into this one data point.

Jayvee,
Thanks for posting your experience. I guess I just find the wax of the one and the wane of the other strange. If these diseases are connected and related to a problem with collagen, you'd think that they would go in the same direction.

It would be nice if it were predictable!
