Collagenase injections for palm nodules?

Hi, so I'm wondering if anyone has any experience/ideas about collagenese injections for DD palm nodules without chords?

My palms have big nodules that feel like pebbles stuck beneath my skin, and my DD 'pebbles' are deforming the side of my hands below little finger (image) - and the pebble-in-the-palm thing is making sport and manual activities uncomfortable...

So are injections are worth looking into - or do they work purely for cords?

(I've had LD nodules in arches of feet since I was a teen (20+ years) - but never developed any chords - hoping for the same with hands...)

Thanks!

Re: Collagenase injections for palm nodules?

It's been mentioned, but not confirmed, that collagenase has been used off-label on Ledderhosen nodules. In this case the nodules interfere with walking.

Not sure about DD nodules. For sure there have not been trials for this, so it us unlikely you will find a doctor, or insurance company, willing to do or cover this, since it is not approved for that purpose.
