Re: Dr. Matthew A. Scott, Chicago Dupuytren's Center?

OK, I have been remiss in not monitoring this discussion (which I brought up). Thanks to all for their very helpful comments.

I did reach Dr. Scott by email... he was fairly prompt... Though I must say, Dr. Eaton was almost beyond belief in both email & phone contact speed... (alas, he is rather far & transportation, etc., are a critical issue for me, at the moment). & I am just now going to send some images of my contractures to him (Dr. Scott).

& I REALLY do appreciate the sharing of your experience with Dr. Scott, as well as Dr. Rizzo...

Moondance, if by chance you come across this message, if you have posted the question list, & have a link to it, sounds like a good idea... which I would definitely check out (I'll scout out around the forum to check).

Thanks again all. This forum is terrific!

Henry

We have had a phone call or two about Dr. Scott, so just to confirm, yes he spent several months training with Dr. Kline in Idaho - who himself was one of the first to do NA in the USA and has done approximately 6000 releases at this point.

Dr. Kline absolutely recommends Dr. Scott's skill as an NA practitioner.

Any questions at all, please give us a call at 208.344.5628

Re: Dr. Matthew A. Scott, Chicago Dupuytren's Center?

I recently had my left hand done by Dr Scott at the Dupuytren's Center Chicago. I am very pleased with the results. I wasn't sure how much he could release my little finger as I had let it go for some time. But now several weeks later I have good use of my hand and my fingers are almost completely straight.

I previously had my hand done by Dr Eaton who also got a good result. I honestly couldn't tell any difference between their procedures or results. Dr Scott was professional and courteous and I would recommend him to anyone. I would also recommend NA.

Mike,
Bet you forgot to check the left column under Needle aponeurotomy, then under clinics, USA. His contact information is there.

Re: Dr. Matthew A. Scott, Chicago Dupuytren's Center?

I had the procedure done by Dr. Scott on 2/20/10 and was extremely pleased with the results. Currently I have about 75% release. I had surgery done two years ago and very unhappy with the results. About 90% release, however the finger is chronically sore, and the surgery has impacted other fingers which were not contracting. Not to mention the high cost and a year of rehab. I would highly recommend Dr. Scott. He is compassionate and thorough in his approach.

I had NA by Dr. Scott on March 26, 2010. I had previously had NA by Dr Eaton in 2007. I was pleased with Eaton and equally pleased with the results with Scott.
