I've already mentioned I had something similar, but thought it was ringworm, well before I had any nodules or other signs of DD.
Well...a couple of years ago on my good non-DD hand I injured a finger joint. Eventually it healed and I forgot about it. But then a couple of weeks ago it started hurting again, and there's a hint of something there, maybe slight swelling of the joint. I'm not aware of re-injuring it though.
Lo and behold today there's a little white blister dot on the side of the joint rubbing against the other finger.
I'm willing to wager I'll have a nodule there over the next few years if not sooner
This is interesting. I have developed a quite large Garrod's pad on this finger joint (PIP) in the last few weeks.
Not quite what I predicted but related.
I wonder if this means the dormant Dupuytren's in this hand will become active?
