new Xiaflex collagenase video of my patient

Hello all:

Great forum - I've spent some time reading posts over the last few days. As a hand surgeon, it's great to see the wide variety of perceptions and experiences people are having.

I've posted my first Dupuytren's video on YouTube here:

Check it out, leave comments; I take criticism and praise well!

I wanted to show patients what the shot was like if they'd never seen it before. The manipulation can sometimes take a bit of massaging and slow steady pressure, but it's satisfying when the cord ruptures (for surgeon and patient). As some of you have mentioned, I hope the treatment has a lasting effect - I explain this to patients ahead of time (that the cord may re-grow).

You can see my other patient education videos on my YouTube channel - subscribe, rate, and leave suggestions for future videos!

The close-up photography in your video was very effective in showing the Xiaflex procedure in detail; it was great to be able to view each step of the process and the results so clearly. Thank you for sharing the footage (and the upbeat music!).

Very good video and you can see the cord pop. I'm very impressed.

Wow! Thanks for posting this. Really shows how it works. Thinking about Xiaflex on my little finger. I think NA will work well on the rest of the cords.

Your website is very informative, too. Picked it up from Utube.
