Don't get me Started

Jim,

Quite a number of forward looking CHS have started to do needle releases without *any* training at all. This is a piece of cake for these experts. As you recall, Eaton himself did his first NA after only so much as watching Walt's French video. He was so amazed by his own results that he went straight to Paris so see if there was anything else to learn. There wasn't all that much.

Now he has a "Physician Resource" page with his own video and ample .PDF training material. From his website:

In September 2006, Drs. Eaton, Zidel and others gave presentations relating to Needle Aponeurotomy and other new treatment options for Dupuytren's at an instructional course that Dr. Eaton developed for the annual scientific meeting of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. Dr. Eaton's presentation and other details of the course are available at this link. The procedure is a recognized procedure in the United States. Dr. Eaton is now encouraging interested hand surgeons to visit to observe and discuss the procedure as performed at The Hand Center.

The way his fellow CHS act to his invitation to get on board with NA you'd think he was selling Amway!!!!

Now that the door is completely wide open, who's interest does it appear that 99% of CHS are most concerned with? Or perhaps it's just that they have their heads in the sand. The list of possibilities goes on but none of it is good.

Before Eaton gave his presentation and then made all this material so available I was willing to give these guys a break. Not now.
