Separate Forum on RT??

Hi everyone. I've been gone for several months due to extreme busyness, so my apologies to those who asked me questions to which I did not respond. (I assume they are moot now, but if not, please feel free to resend.)

Not that I want to create more work for the moderators of this excellent forum, but would it be possible/desirable to create a separate forum for RT? There is clearly a huge amount of interest in this, and many threads have been created over the last few years that discuss it. The problem is that they are split between the "Dupuytren's" forum and the "Ledderhose" forum. So it is hard for newcomers, or those who have been away for a while, to locate the various threads.

I know there is a search function (and have used it many times), but it can get a little unwieldy, and I think it would be much more user friendly to group all the RT threads in one place. In my opinion there are more similiarities than differences between getting RT for hands v. feet, and some people need both.

Do people think this would be helpful, and how hard would it be to do?

On a separate but related note, I wanted to learn more about donating to support this website. (Related because it doesn't seem fair to request enhancements if you aren't also willing to pitch in!)

My memory is that you can either donate to the website directly (which is not tax deductible for those of us in the U.S.), or donate to the U.S. Dupuytren Foundation (which would be tax deductible for us, but I wasn't sure whether doing so would really support this website). I have checked out the Dupuytren Foundation website and was really not happy with the lack of good information about RT (for example, it is not listed under "Helpful Treatments"). This website seems to be the only place where you can learn about what I see as the most effective way to prevent progression of this disease.

Thanks,

Maddie

Re: Separate Forum on RT??

Good suggestion, Maddie!

We would then need also a Forum on XIAFLEX and SURGICAL METHODS etc.

We could also use the TAG-Function if implemented to add different aspects to a post and thus make it also more esily available for others

I think, The "Chief" has to decide ...
