Xiaflex and circulation
OK, 2 weeks from injection and 8 days post manipulation... treated fingers and surrounding areas are often blue-ish and discolored. Not bruising as it comes and goes. I haven't found other reports of this. Anyone?

Re: Xiaflex and circulation
I didn't have anything like that happen with my X treatment.

Re: Xiaflex and circulation
I just had my xiaflex treatment 8 days ago and my hand is 90% healed but still sensitive and a little bruised. I believe that it is much less pain than the surgery. jus very thankful that is available thanks to the slow action of FDA.

Re: Xiaflex and circulation
Well, apparently no one else has ever had this problem. After a lot of research on xiaflex side effects, cyanosis reported only one time (resulting in patient death, so probably a lot more going on!). Spoke to my Dr. yesterday, and as expected, he had never heard of this either, but says it is possible that the blood vessels could be more sensitive at this time. Since I have feeling and motion, the plan is to wait, observe and try to figure out triggers, and hope it goes away! I do have Raynaud's disease as well, but this isn't behaving according to my usual pattern. In hindsight, maybe not the best option for someone who has Raynaud's.
