Finding an NA practioner

I went on the ASSH website, looked up the doctors who were near me then started phoning their offices to see if any had been at the presentation and were practicing NA. I was successful.

He was quite surprised to hear about the controversy surrounding NA and the websites. He had simply attended the ASSH presentation because it was interesting then brought the procedure home without any fuss. He had no idea that we wanted him to post his name for us to find and there are probably others like this too. I haven't asked his permission to post his name so I can't tell you who he is, but undoubtedly there are others like him.....that room was full of people....find them... then ask if you can post their name....I will be doing that at the next appointment.

Re: Finding an NA practioner

This makes perfect sense Annabelle. Most CHS can sit in a presentation, see how NA is done, and off they go. Eaton had way less info when he did his first NA. He went to Paris after that to get more scoop, but NA is essentially a new twist on an old procedure that all CHS know all about. The key is the feedback loop from the patient to avoid nerve damage. This is counter intuitive to surgeons. They would never think of such a thing! Once they have all the tricks/formulas, off they can go.***

And *we* here would never know about it. What % of Dups patients find this site? Very small, unfortunately, so

***I'd like my NA guy to have more training with Eaton or Denkler, but don't forget, even Denkler was "self taught" before we begged him to go to Paris, which he did.

Re: Finding an NA practioner

Hi Annabelle,

any news about your doctor? Would it be OK to publish his name or is he one of those who we already inlcuded on our list? You know, we want to list as many good NA doctors as possible!

Thanks
Wolfgang
