MatriStem placed instead of sking grafts after faciectonomy?
I was reading how this substance called MatriStem (or ACell) is basically the best alternative for tissue regeneration because it doesn't form scar tissue instead, normal cells migrate to the area. I know it has been used for burnt victims and for reconstruction surgery. So has anyone had any success with this? As far as I understand the main problem after this surgery, and this disease, is the progression of the DP due to scar formation.

Re: MatriStem placed instead of sking grafts after faciectonomy?
That might be a slight misunderstanding. Dupuytren's tissue has similarities to scar tissue but is not the same. The onset of disease after surgery is not due to scars but probably due to a triggering of previously dormant Dupuytren's sites..
