It had been some time since I looked at this website so I was excited to see that radiation therapy is offered in the US. I contacted Dr. Weiss (Virginia) and Dr. Tripuraneni (California) via e-mail and received responses from both confirming they tread Dupuytren's with radiation therapy. I also contacted Dr. Herman's office (Oklahoma) via telephone and confirmed he will treat with radiation therapy. If I can receive approval from my insurance company (BCBS of Louisiana), I will go there for the treatment. The lady I talked to when I called Dr. Herman couldn't have been any nicer! She told me to fax the records from my doctor along with my insurance information, then she would call me back with an appointment.

I have Dupuytren's in both hands, with my left hand being the worse. I just noticed nodules in my right palm this last week for the pinky finger. I have cords and nodules in my left hand going to my ring and middle finger. The ring finger cord is beginning to dimple. I have knuckle pads on three fingers on my left hand, and one on my right. Can you also have them palm-side? I think I have a pretty aggressive case.
