Hi I have recently been diagnosed with DC and have 5 small nodules on my left palm. The nodules have been there for about 11-12 months. My question is can anyone tell me if DC is related to shingles? In march last year I had a severe dose of shingles which started in the area of my C2 and C3 vertebrae. I developed nerve damage down my left arm and lost the use of my left hand for a few days especially my thumb and index finger which I could barely move at all for a couple of weeks. Even now after some 15 months I still have some loss of strength and numbness in my thumb. To me, it is very co-incidental that it was only a month or two after this that the nodules started to appear. Does anyone have any knowledge as to whether this could be related? Thank you
