The admin is not on vacation and can only speculate on the root cause of your problem (generally registration works flawless on this forum). When you register you get your password mailed nearly instantly. If you don't receive it my guess is that you are using a not working/wrong email address. When you try again to register your initial user name is already in use and your email address is considered "not valid". But that's just a guess.

To investigate further I need to know under which name(s) you tried to register. Please mail the user names to the Wolfgang. The email address is on http://www.dupuytren-online.info/imprint.html.

would you mind sending me an email with user name and the email address that you had used for registration? We are still trying to find a pattern to understand whether there is a specific problem or just a coincidence. Did you check whether you email system considered the return email form the forum as spam? That, unfortunately, does happen occasionally.

I had the same problem around 3 weeks ago. I did not receive an email to confirm my registration and to give me a password. Nevertheless, I read the forum news regularly and find the contributions most interesting.
