Could someone please answer regarding swelling?

I have Dupuytren's in both hands, but on my left palm, I have two narrow rows of swelling going on about the length of a green bean. It is raised and very puffy and sore. I periodically get knife stabbing pains in the hand that are very sharp. Is it common to get weird swelling in the palm of the hand with Dupuytren's?.....and if so, does it mean it is active, or progressing? I appreciate any and all responses, thank you....Metzie

Sounds like the beginning of cords to me, but I'm no expert. My cords and nodules would swell and become painful whenever I would overuse my hands. Maybe it's a good time to have RT?
