Dupuytrens and Carpal Tunnel
Hi. I have had DD in my hands now for around 15 years (I’m 56). The thickening in my left hand has actually lessened over time, but my right hand is getting worse and is quite stiff. I also developed some knuckle pads, as well as nodules in my feet, but fortunately they have also lessened. The problem I am having now is that it seems I have developed an issue with my carpal tunnel in my right wrist, and it is quite painful. I had read a while ago on the Dupuytren Society webpage that this was often connected to DD, but can’t seem to find this information now.
Does anyone have any information they can help me with or direct me to where I can find anything?

Sadly the most commonly reported link is the appearance of DD for the first time after surgery for carpal tunnel.
There are conservatives treatments which should be explored first.
