Help a Peyronie's guy
Hi all. I'm 24 years old and unfortunately i'm suffering from Peyronie's disease. I always check this forum since i know that Dupuytren, Ledderhose and Peyronie's are really similiar disorders which can seriously affect our QoL.
After looking around, i noticed that some of you had GREAT improvements with a special treatment, provided by Dr. David Chin in Brisbane, known as "Tissue plasminogen activator". I am really interested in this, especially i would like to know if it can work on Peyronie's too. Other infos i really would like to have is:
1. What kind of results did you obtain with this treatment? 2. Have you had a "plaque" reduction? If yes, of how much? 3. Did your hand function increase? If yes, of how much? 4. Did Tissue plasminogen activator harm healthy tissue, or it only "attacks" the unhealthy tissue?
Thank you really much! Wish you the best.

Sorry to hear of your situation. I ve had two sessions of treatment from dr.chin with mixed results. My initial round on my left foot was fairly successful. That was 3 years ago. This year I had some more injections in both hands and left foot. Sadly this time after a couple of months there was significant progression in two of the 3sites. Maybe just unlucky this time as the disease was very active at the time of treatment. I am aware of some excellent outcomes regarding his treatment so I would not want to put you off. Maybe it would be best get a consultation with him and take it from there... Wishing you the best Gazza
