No, the worst is when they start Loping off fingers. 
From the tell tale little needle marks on your thumb your have a hand that has had both Open Surgery and NA. You didn’t mention that but based on your comment regarding surgery one can only assume that NA went a bit better. I could be wrong. What are the actual facts of your case?
