Question for everyone

Hi from Newbie:

Trying to find an association with medication and Dupuy. Prior to your diagnosis, were you on any medications between a year to 10 years previously? In particular, fluoroquinolone antibiotic or lariam/mefloquine?? If yes, which meds, and for how long? Did you suffer from side effects or adverse reactions?

Thanks

Re: Question for everyone

Only medication for hypothroidism. Can't see that meds have been a factor at all in my Dupuytren's.

Re: Question for everyone

I take only Lipitor and Fosomax...

but...I took Glucosamine and Condroitin for a while a few years back and when I read on this forum that it could precipitate Dupuytren disease, I stopped taking this supplement. My DD has continued to slowly progress, so I'm not sure that made a difference, but I'm not taking it just in case.

Re: Question for everyone

I also took Glucosamine and Condroitin for 6 months prior to nodules forming in my palm, stopped taking it after my small finger had contracted and I was diagnosed with Dupuytren's. Otherwise no meds.
