NA Option
Sean,
I will not dignify your line of questioning on this issue, nor will I "name names"!
Remain focused on site intent! You are so eager to lobby for the AMA, one might suspect, as previously stated, that you hold membership. If you desire debate on this matter off-line, I will share pertinent information relative to AMA stonewalling non-conventional treatment, otherwise, case closed!

AMA
I wouldn't be surprised if the AMA has never even officially discussed NA.
No conspiracy theory is necessary to explain the situation. The real barriers aren't the AMA or the insurance companies - they're the Atlantic Ocean and the French language. It's hard for a new technique to jump over here and take root, especially when the potential market is so small.

Blame the AMA
Still waiting for a response to Jose. No "HOSTILE" accusations being thrown at him yet?

Blame the AMA
Jose, What is the problem of putting the information, if there is any, onto this forum? It would be good for everyone to know. I would suspect that there isn't any evidence that the AMA is somehow preventing the practice of NA in the U.S. It just seems to be an easy target for people who have an unfortunate diathesis to blame the medical society for their situation.

~dq~U.S. Medical industry~dq~
toM, I am a "proponent for the U.S. medical industry". We have perhaps the best medical industry in the world. The surgeon who operated on my hand did a tremendous job and I am thankful. My hand is now as it was prior to DC. Someday, recurrence might happen. He did say that he very seldom saw recurrence.

FYI
Jose, Sean doesn't want to debate you off this forum. It is so easy to throw out objections, criticisms and foolish- ness onto a forum. It is like so many times past and present, all he does is start an argument. Once again, if he has such a fortunate cure, why is he still here????

FYI
To whom it may concern, Many on this forum probably miss and wonder about their old friend, Gary Evans, who abruptly stopped posting to the forum. Internet searches have provided some possibilities for ways to reach Gary. Dr. Gary Dean Evans, Vallejo, CA or David Gary Evans, Nuclear Medicine, Encintos or La Jolla or San Diego, CA.

The shill/pill
That's true: why does he accuse others of being hostile when they don't agree with his surgery promotion? And yes, "diathesis" is overused by Gary/Sean. Isn't his email further back in the forum? i remember it. Why would someone be in this forum if their surgery was so successful? DC sufferers need to know to take care of their liver and avoid injury to the hands. i believe NA will become more available eventually, and also the scar tissue dissolvers, such as collagenase.
