previous injury
I also had a fall on my right arm, but began noticing nodules in the palm of my right hand about 3 months after to fall and prior to surgery. The diagnosis of Dupuytren's was actually an incidental finding to the injury to my shoulder. After surgery, my fingers began contracting during the night and rapidly progressed. After finding this site and seeing the possible connection between Glucosamine/condroitin and DD, I did stop the supplement. I'm not sure, but the progression seems to be slowing down and the nodules are not as prominent.
Hope this helps.
