I would like to get as many recommendatins for hotels in Paris in as short a time as possible since I have an appointment with Dr. Badois soon. That's why I am creating a new topic. Does anyone else have a problem with remembering what you read when under which topic?

Not ever having been to Paris I don't know normal prices or good vs. bad neighborhoods, etc.

Thanks Pablo, for your input. I neglectd to mention that I need a room or suite for 3, 2 girlfriends of mine who live in Germany (actually we are all German)will accompany me from Munich and spend a week with me in Paris.

The Ibis which you mentioned apparently doesn't take 3 in a suite. I received an email from Tom through this Forum and he told me about the Hotel du Champ de Mars, close to the Eiffel Tower also. They have 25 rooms, apparently very local but also modern. For the 3 of us 96 Euros, a good deal I believe. I sent them an email, received an answer the very next day and have a suite reserved.
