sight

Randy,
OPPPPs, that does not work either. I have tried Yahoo, MSN, and Comet search, and it comes up with nothing. Even with the lower case. Funny again, if I type it in, and send it to myself on an email, I can click onto it right away. I have a websight, and the same thing happens. That is how I learned to type it in and send it to myself. I have not tried Google yet. I will try that next.
Is there a time frame where something will show up on the web? With my websight, until I pay the money, nothing comes up on search, just the sight I send to my friends. That websight will not come up on Most Searchs until money is paid.
I am still in the group to help with that. Just let me know.
I have been inching closer and closer to having this done. I am waiting for when it is MY TIME... I just got a nodual this last week with my cord...after having surgery for a nail punture wound on the top of my hand. It made everything worse, right away. I was left with debree in my hand, and a huge knot..They had to open it up and clean it out... Guess what, right in the same area of the Dups. The next week, I had a Whole New Nodule.....I can not feel in the whole area around what this guy did. I swear, I wish I had not had an Orthopedic man do this...I wish, I had had the Hand Surgeon do it. I just thought this was so simple. Now, It has irritated the Dups. again.
WEB SIGHT LOOKS GREAT...KEEP IT UP....

Well, the site is a new site and hasn't had time to get listed into the search engines yet. this will happen soon. the reason why the image on the main page takes awhile to laod is because it is a big picture. i wil.l try to fix that.

Thank You ALAN.
I received web site from your email... Saved it to favorites
Thank You... Randy for your efforts....
Patty. I too have noticed that any small type of injury or pressure seems to irritate dups....other than that... N.A. IS DOING FINE...Still at 30% on pinkie since procedure in May with Dr. Eaton.....
I am sure when I go back that more cords will be cut between thumb and pointer finger, at least I think... They are not hardened yet....but, are there.
I would be happy to email any of you the web sites I have saved to favorites if you can not bring them up on puter....
Just email me ..
Good Luck everyone....

Web site

I have sent info and photos to Dr. Eaton and am awaiting word on if and when he can see me.

Meanwhile, thanks for taking time to prepare the Web site. You asked for typo's--and while they don't trouble me, I did find a couple you might want to tidy up. Scarring (not scaring as stated) and rigors (not riggers as stated).

Thank God for the internet--otherwise, no one would know that there are other options out there for us!

Raising The Flag

Terry,

Yes, the Net is grand, but at this point only a handful (so to speak) of those who need a Dups procedure know that NA is a highly viable alternative to the surgery they've been told they must have. Otherwise Eaton would be **completely** overwhelmed with patients. I'm excited to see what happens when I invest the money to raise this flag to the top of the building for all to see. Thanks all for your encouragement and support.

Cure?????

Peggy:

Nothing. My friend who created the site used "Cure dupuytrens" as an address in ignorance. We have changed it to

http://www.dups-non-surgical.org/

There is no way I could let the original address stand. We are bucking the tide and seeking a minor revolution in how doctors treat Dups. The last thing we need is to disqualify ourselves by presenting misleading information. (There is currently no Cure)

At this moment the site is down and may be for a few days. In any case, the site is *not* intended for anyone reading this post, but those unfortunate enough to need medical intervention who might not otherwise learn of their options.

The exciting part will come in a few weeks when it gets listed on the search engines. Hopefully there will be a lot of newcomers to this Forum.

Cure?????

I agree Randy. Cure Dups is not the thing to list this on. There Is No Cure.
This should be a sight to let people know about what they can do. Not A Cure.
Hey, we who have it are saddled with it. Accept it. Let's look for the places we can go to Help us. The avenues that help us. Cure is not the word to use here.
