How long does NA release last?
I am aware NA is a treatment and so is surgery, so I am curious about the duration of release from DC, it must differ in many different people or is there a minimum and maximum time? Australia is a long way from Europe still it is a good reason to see some fine art.

Recurrance after NA vs Surgery
Stephen,
First, allow me to recommend Needle Aponeurotomy rather than surgery for DC. It is much less invasive and allows your to use your hands/fingers almost immediately whereas not so with surgery which requires a long recovery time plus physical therapy over an extended period of time. Also, surgery leaves scarring, and can only be performed for recurrance approximately two times. With NA, it can be performed as often as needed with almost no pain.
As for recurrance, it will vary with individuals. Perhaps a good recurrance estimate would be two to 10 years. NA cases may recur a little less than the surgery procedure. However, it is much better, in my opinion, to have the NA procedure as one can have it performed over and over with no pain other than a little bee sting feeling on first injection in the palm, then no pain in general. NA is amazing. I call it a miracle. I have had the NA procedure and speak from experience in addition to knowledge of others that have had NA. Go the NA way is my recommendation. The best to you.

NA duration of release
Have you read the "DUPUYTREN'S DISEASE: FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS AND LINKS TO KNOWN FACTS: FAQS & FACTS" section of Dr. Eaton's homepage lately. It is very impressive. He has done an excellent review of studies on surgical and NA solutions to NA. It includes much information on NA duration of release. See it at http://www.handcenter.org/newfile25.htm.
