lithotripsy and ld
I've been suffering with ld in my right foot for over two years now although I've only been successfully diagnosed for a couple of months. As a 20yr old female I don't exactly fit the stereotype though there is a family history of DC in the hand. Things are getting pretty bad now. I'm on strong painkillers full time and even with them I still can't walk for more than a couple of minutes without severe pain. My consultant (Mr Geary, Murrayfield, Wirral, UK) is trying me on the first trials of lithotripsy to see if this works but I'm two sessions through out of three and its not looking promising. Has anyone else got experience of the lithotripsy or any advice at all? Thanks Dawn
