NA after Collagen
Hello,
It is my understanding that often (because of scarring) it is impossible to do a NA after having Dup surgery. I am currently in the Stanford collagen trials, which raises the following important question: if necessary, will I still be able to have NA after the collagen treatment?
Thank you, YK

Can~sq~t imagine why not
How long have you been in the trials? From your question it would seem that the Collagen may not be working.

Can~sq~t imagine why not
...BUT...that would be a question for your doctors at the trials or an NA practitioner like Dr. Eaton. Good luck
Take care,
Frances

Noninvasive
YK: Being noninvasive, the Collagenase injections don't create scar tissue. NA should therefore continue to be an option. You could always ask the *doctors* whether the injection treatment might interfere with NA, except that they've either never heard of NA or they'll say "Oh....you mean that needle treatment? It's been tried. It's doesn't work" (We've really got to straighten these guys out.) Meanwhile, we'd all love to have a detailed account of your condition, treatment and results. Please keep us informed.

collagen trial
When I posted my messege I was under the impression that I was already enrolled in the Stanford collagen trials. However, after reading on this forum that people had been contacted by Stanford, I called Stanford to see why I was left out. They advised me that they are still in the process of screening the candidates in order to find the most favorable cases for the trial. So it’s now a new situation for me.
