Not a lost Cause

Cindy, I can only advise to avoid anything containing collagen.
Vitamin C, in large doses also seems to aggravate DC.
Surgery is a bitch, so avoid it if possible

Not a lost Cause

My urologist prescribed a gout medication, when I was first diagnosed...saying it "could" cause "some" diarrhea. 2 weeks later, and 15 lbs lighter, I checked with him again. The medication did help me some...but I think I'm a lost cause, especially as advanced as my Dupuytren's is, as well. I also have epilepsy, which some surveys have shown in a higher percentage of DC and Peyronie's patients.

I don't remember the name of the med for gout, but it did help some.

Not a lost Cause

Bret, You may feel like a lost cause, because of how the medical community is treating you, but you are not. You should try the natural ways to heal your body, and give it the nutrtion it really needs. Don't give up, if I were you I would find a good Naturopathic Doctor and treat your body to what it REALLY needs! Good luck!

Thanks!

JM:

Thank you for the kind words, and for the advice. I'm just taking it one day at a time (as recovering alcoholics ALL do!), and re-learning to type, NOT using my left pinkie! (OBVIOUSLY NOT USEFUL FOR A TYPIST/CLERK-TYPIST!)

Please keep in touch periodically, and I'll be looking for a decent naturopathic/homeopathic doctor in the Greater Boise area.

Thanks again!

Bret

Bret, I am glad to hear you will seek a good Naturopathic Doctor. You can make a huge difference in your health, commit to doing it, and I guarantee you will see positive results! Don't let the "doctors" tell you there is no help, they are wrong my friend! Hang in there and remember COMMIT to it, with the help of a good ND, and you will see, and feel the difference! JM

IS IT TOO LATE?

for young and not married there is always the ultimate solution: to change sexual orientation and sex, the ultimate resort if every cure has failed or in case of unsupportable aggravation. PD never tranforms into cancer.
Another solution: be patient and wait for new medical discoveries.

IS IT TOO LATE?

I'm 29 and I have PD since I was a kid. Is it still possible to correct the problem? Because I'm just lost and don't know where and who to turn to already.

Thank you.
