Surgery

Kristen- I'd be happy to have NA every 6 months if that could happen but for me it seems like it would be every 1-2 months which seems a bit too much. At that pace I'd worry about doing damage to the tendons, etc. since I did have some pain upon using my fingers even two weeks after the last procedure. I'll consult Dr. Eaton before I have surgery if it comes to that. I guess the recurrance with skin grafts being low could be the people like me with aggressive forms, so I could be screwed either way possibly.

update

Just wanted to let those know who followed my quick onset and recurrance after two NA procedures that I have some good news. While the fingers curled back quickly after Dr Eaton did the NA on me in August (after the one in June) they didn't go back to 45 degrees, only 25 degrees and have been stable there since mid September. First time anything with me has been stable since May when it all started. I dropped the Celebrex too given all the Vioxx issues and no pain anymore. I've been on colchicine .6 twice a day and 1g of acetyl-l-carnitine twice a day as well (the first was Dr Eaton's idea, the second was mine given some success in peyronies). Maybe its the course of the disease to go in remission for a while or maybe its the medicine. Either way, I'm doing better and if someone else was facing dire situation I'd try to same medicine if your doctor will prescribe it as it may be what's working for me since I started on them at the beginning of September. Good luck to all. Dr. Eaton rocks too....
