Swelling in fingers other than the one that had operation

I had surgery for Dupuytren's 3 1/2 months ago. It appeared (at that time) in only the pinkie finger of my left hand. Since the surgery, I have developed four new lumps in the left hand and one on the palm of my right hand. The thing that concerns me the most is the terrible swelling of the left ring finger (next to the pinkie that had the surgery). The finger is more swollen now than immediately after surgery ! Has anyone had this problem and will the swelling go down or should I just have all my rings re-sized and live with it?

Swelling in other fingers

I also have swelling in nearby fingers two months after surgery and have the same questions.

swelling

2 months is not a long time in this process. If the surgeon and therapist don't think the swelling is problematic, then I wouldn't worry too much at this stage. The swelling is very persistent and takes months to subside.
