I don't see a thing wrong with what Sean has said regarding NA v Surgery. Or going to Florida v France. So far, he's taken a rather neutral, objective approach.

What I really think is going on is that Sean's enjoying the exchanges vis-a-vis who's said what.

Come on! Don't you guys think the rest of us can analyze the data and come up with the most appropriate treatment? Cost isn't always driving issue -- a personal 'comfort zone' could be just as important! If you're more comfortable going to a US doctor, do so. If not, go to Europe. And if NA isn't in your comfort zone, do the surgery. I don't think any of us really care -- as long as you do what YOU think is best for YOU!

But for God's sake, stop telling me (and everyone else) which is the 'best' or 'only' way. I'll read Sean's postings as well as Jake's and Jim's and everyone else's. I'll decide which is best -- which fits my comfort zone -- and proceed from there.

Folks: I want facts -- not personalities. I want outcomes -- not attitudes. And above all I want honesty.

Just a note to say "thank you" for your quick, informative, and succinct response (sans the mordacious diatribe and vitriol). That was precisely the type of ANSWER I was expecting. At this point, the costs appear to be very close to one another. I'm going to have to contact Pacificare to see what, if anything, they cover. Hopefully, those of us afflicted with DC and read this forum regularly can learn to refrain from expressing their anger here, and simply help each other through their postings.
