Alan,
Was a fasciectomy ever suggested for you? I had great results and so have many others. It has been 4 1/2 years since my surgery and there is no trace of Dupuytren's( zero degrees contracture, from 85 degrees). I will suggest that all cases seem to be different, however.

Yes Mayo Clinic wanted to do that years ago
and I ran from them after seeing the gory pictures
and the recovery time from such surgery. Hence I
was so thrilled to give NA a try. At least the
recovery down time is near zero. The results from
so many others have been spectacular trying NA,
and I was delighted to have given it a try.

Alan,
So what is next for you? A fasciectomy is very minor surgery compared to most surgeries.

Dr. Denkler?

Could anyone please give me some information on Dr. Denkler who performs NA i Calfornia? I live in Southern California, and am scheduled to have the procedure done by Dr. Eaton on both hands in mid October.
Thanks, Per

NA Yesterday

Charlie is terrific, he did NA on my right hand in May '04! However, I'm in Los Angeles and would like to avoid 5 hours each way in the air... so I'm going to see Dr. Denkler on the 14th. Here's the link:

NA Yesterday

Dr. Eaton did my NA yesterday and everything was terrific. My hand is flat again and I am truly amazed at this procedure. The pain was very small, only the needle sting and only 4 tiny bandaids. I am so glad I found this place to have this done. I am one of the fortunate ones.

Another Eaton Believer

Susie,

Congrats!..........

Most of us who have had NA feel the same way you do. Though not a magic bullet, NA needs to be recognized as the proper first line of defense before OS is performed. We should *not* continue to be the "Fortunate" or "lucky ones" to know this. We all need to be activists so "luck" has nothing to do with it. Every CHS in North American should either do this procedure or refer it out to someone else who does *before* doing OS.

We still have a long way to go before *none* of us feels Fortunate! This should be just normal. That's the goal here.

Had my right hand NA on Friday 10/14 by Dr. Eaton. What a great guy and staff. Long trip from California was well worth it. Looking to do my right hand in a few months. Thanks to Dr. Eaton I'm extremely pleased with the results.
